When we were invited to align the diverse value systems for Raiffeisen good advice was dear. The top management team at the time, together with 23 managers, were to sit in this workshop… What were we to do? How can you reduce a federal organisation to a common denominator when it gains its strength from precisely this diversity? After much reflection the idea came to us overnight: the founder had to be there. Johannes Angerer, who formerly travelled around as a cabaret artist, became Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen. We spent weeks reading biographies and letters… and brought him along to the workshop as a surprise guest…
