Constantia Flexibles – Developing an Employer Value Proposition Online
The company made its first beginnings in 1912 with 4 employees in the small Lower Austrian town of Weinburg. Since then, Constantia Flexibles has developed into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of flexible packaging. The 4 employees have grown to over 8.000, and the small site in Weinburg has grown to over 35 subsidiaries around the world.
Our order at the beginning of 2020: Develop an Employer Brand that expresses this global corporate culture.
Order accepted. And then the first lockdown happened. Well, we have always conducted focus groups with Vietnamese, Indian or Mexican participants using Skype & Co. But the positioning workshop with the CEO and top management? Until Corona, that was a “sacred” face-to-face workshop for us. Anything else seemed unthinkable for tracking down the brand DNA. But even this critical process can be digitized with suitable collaboration tools.
Within a few months, the Employer Branding project ran 100 percent remotely. In 20 digital workshops with 120 participants from Lower Austria to India, we got to the core that unites everyone: Pack your passion into purpose.
